    Hey Everyone!

I’m very new to Soundbridge, and I was wondering if there was any way to add the same instance of an effect vst to multiple tracks (this would mainly be done for automation purposes.) I tried using return tracks, but they still kept some of the dry signal, even at 100%. So I was wondering: am I misunderstanding return tracks, is there a better way to do what I’m trying to do?

I hope this all made sense, and thanks in advance for your time!

So, it turns out that what I was looking for is a way to create mix buses. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Hello,

You can Group tracks and achieve what you asked about.

Grouping tracks effectively routes the audio of all children tracks (tracks that are in a group track) through that group track.

Any effect placed on that group track will effect the audio signal of all the children tracks.

Select the tracks you want to group and just click the “Group” button that is on top of the track list.

Hey, thanks for replying! The solution looks great! Do you know of a way to make the color of children tracks be different from their parent tracks? Thanks again!

    Hi,

All tracks within a group will share the same color as the parent track. You can, however, still have independent region/block colors by going to

Preferences – Options – Match Block to Track Color

and deactivating this option. Then, you can change region colors by right-clicking on them, independent of track color.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely make use of it! 🙂
