AUX sends as a monitor output for musicians

Hello!
What I encounter as a ‘problem’ is the possibility to make an AUX send for a musician as his monitor when tracking.

Imagine I use outputs 1&2 of my interface (Tascam US16x08) for my speakers … I would have to be able to use a third output as a headphone send, no? I send my vocal mic to a new aux track in Soundbridge and I route the aux track towards a free output of my interface yet nothing comes out … I

Do you think this is an interface problem or is it in Soundbridge?
Are there people here who operate in a different way for making monitor outputs?

Hello,

You should be able to use the return tracks in the way you described.
Return tracks can be routed to different outputs on your audio interface.

Maybe there is something you need to set up in your audio interface settings or mixer if it has one.
For me it works using an RME audio interface.

Thanks for this. I had a small fear it was the usability of my interface … There is not much to setup, it’s pretty basic.

I’ll solve it by routing a desired input straight to a free output on my interface and thus avoiding the use of an Aux.

We’ll see where we go from there.
