Changing audio block playback speed without time stretching

I’ve been looking into this DAW’s features before trying it out myself and I’ve noticed there’s quite a bit of emphasis on being able to change an audio clip’s speed without affecting its pitch, but no mention of being able to do so without time stretching algorithms, that is, by simply affecting its playback speed. Is this feature present at all? If not, would it be considered for future versions?
