Could someone please explain freezing tracks in sound bridge?
What is freezing in place and what purpose does it serve? I have a big project with tons of midi and cpu performance is starting to wane, but I don’t understand how to leverage freezing to my advantage.
Midi tracks are also lined up perfectly with each other, how to do I keep all the timing accurate when I bounce or freeze?

    Sorry, I’m a newbie.

Freezing will render the selected tracks to audio with all of the processing on the track included in that render.

    1. Make sure that the loop markers in the sequencer encompass the entire song, start to finish.
    2. Open the freeze dialog.
    3. Select “In Place”.
    4. Select the tracks to be frozen (usually the ones that use up a lot of CPU).
    5. Click OK.
    6. Once it is done those tracks are now rendered in the background and do not use up your CPU resources.

    Maybe a stupid question..
How unfreeze the tracks I had previously freezed?
I’m coming from Live where you can freeze and unfreeze tracks, I’m sure is possible on Soundbridge too!
    Someone can help me?

To unfreeze tracks, just open the freeze dialog again and unselect them. They should no longer be highlighted blue. Hit OK.
