Hi, I have done a very simple midi setup using USB to midi with my yamaha keyboard. I can record to a midi track and see the notes, but when I play it back I get no sound coming out of the computer.
The tutorial says Soundbridge must have exclusive access to the sound card when running and so turn off any other programs such as youtube that will access the computer’s sound. So I did that but still no sound.
Are there some hidden programs or windows background processes that may be hogging the audio output?
Or any other solutions?
I am using Soundbridge on Windows 10.
I can get a sound to play via MIDI through a vst instrument but cant get it back to my external keyboard. I can see the routing to the external keyboard and have it set to go to it in preferences, but unless I have a VST set up it wont play any recorded MIDI parts
Was this ever resolved? I’m having the same issue and followed all the directions. I even see the exact notes that are recorded, but when I try to play back the MIDI recording, I have no sound. (I have sound on all other recordings like vocals etc)
