Hi, I have done a very simple midi setup using USB to midi with my yamaha keyboard. I can record to a midi track and see the notes, but when I play it back I get no sound coming out of the computer.
The tutorial says Soundbridge must have exclusive access to the sound card when running and so turn off any other programs such as youtube that will access the computer’s sound. So I did that but still no sound.
Are there some hidden programs or windows background processes that may be hogging the audio output?
Or any other solutions?
I am using Soundbridge on Windows 10.
Hello,
Which VST Instrument are you using?
Yes because it won’t make any sound if there’s no instrument, right? Also, see if the track is muted or not.

Hello,
Exactly. Without a VST instrument there will be no sound.
Alternatively you could route the output that MIDI track to be sent back to the Yamaha keyboard.
