ParticipantIs there a way to change the tempo of the file without warping all of the samples?
I’m trying to put an audio file in one track, then use a midi instrument to play over it in a second track. Naturally I want to line up the tempo of the audio file with the temple of the midi notes. But when I change the main tempo, the audio warps to match the new tempo. Can I change the main tempo that controls the midi, while just letting the audio play at its usual speed? Or is there another way to get what I want here?

ParticipantHello,
The audio in SoundBridge always follows the main tempo. The solution is to find the tempo of the track you will play to and set it as the main tempo for your project before you import that audio.

ParticipantI am also having this issue. is there no way for SB to auto analyze the audio track? I use SB to do a lot of drum covers and when I put the sample track in with the tempo, its off. Even when I try to quantize the track or even change the bpm it is still off. It makes it harder to play to the metronome and then I would have to sometimes wing it and hopefully I land the marks. Is there any way to fix this?

ParticipantIf you know the bpm of the track you are inserting do this:
1. Set the project tempo to the original BPM of the track you want to insert.
2. Insert the track.
3. Change the BPM of the project back to what you wanted it to be. -
