I am new to recording. I just purchased an M-Audio quick track with a Shure mic. I might want to do a few things. 1. I might want to have the option to work on utilizing backing tracks while I solo, and afterward record my vocals. I don’t know whether this is conceivable. 2. Would I be able to transfer a track from iTunes then alter it? for instance, in the event that I transfer stormy Monday by Allman siblings would I be able to cut the vocals and Duane’s guitar and include my vocals and guitar? I am new to this programming/programming. much appreciated and acknowledged.
Hello,
1. You can do this, use backtracks and solo / record vocals on top of them.
2. Removing any element from recorded music is very hard, sometimes impossible.
