Hi.
I have found a new way to get money for your software, SoundBridge!
I’m just trying to help you because I like SoundBridge and want it to get updated to a stable free DAW, that is better then the “not free Daw’s”. And I also want you to be able to add new features and improvements to it, as soon as possible.
So.. now about the sponsor.
There is a organization that supports free opensource software and gives money to projects they think are important but the requirements to get money from them is that except that the software must be free and opensource, it also has to be available for at least one operating system that is free like a sort of Linux (for example my favourite Linux: “Qubes OS”) or for Android (which is an exception, because only parts of it is free). So shortly explained: The only thing missing to be qualified to get money from them is a SoundBridge for any “free Linux” or for “Android”. But keep in mind that if you try to do both it might make your DAW prioritised to get even more money in support/donation from the “Free Software Foundation”.
So please consider making a version for a free Linux and/or for Android and if you get it done: contact FSF and tell about your free DAW, aimed to be a professional free DAW, that will remain a free one and start to get extra get money from FSF and maybe also others working with them, who donates to useful free projects now and then.
Best regards, merry Christmas & a happy New Year! 🙂
