Option to Zoom at Playhead.
Currently the zoom feature zooms from the center of the track or edit windows. I find this a bit awkward, as my focus of interest is most often at, or very near, the playhead position. When I zoom in or out currently, often I must grab the window slider to bring the playhead back into view. It would be nice to have an option to have zoom fixed to the playhead. Thank you for a very nice program. I am learning more about it daily.
I understand that both do follow. However, in my copy of Soundbridge, the Edit window does not advance to follow the playbar if it is zoomed in (as the edit window normally is). Instead, the playbar just passes through whatever point the edit window is located, but then does not refresh to match the progressing track. Nor is the edit window automatically positioned to the point in the track where the playbar (what is the proper term?) begins. I will post this to support. Thank you.
I did finally import midi from MuseScore into Soundbridge, but I first had to import the MuseScore midi output into the LMMS DAW, then export from LMMS as a Midi file. Soundbridge could then open the Midi file. I don’t know what the difference is beteen LMMS and Soundbridge that allows LMMs to recognize the MuseScore Midi output, and how LMMS then changes the Midi format so that Soundbridge recognizes it. I post this just in case anyone is interested.
I can’t seem to drag and drop a midi file (exported from MuseScore) into a new midi track. It seems like it should (shows the little + icon when dragging), but when I release the mouse button, it flashes back toward the file list and nothing happens. Is there something I have missed? Should the midi file be formatted in any particular way (for example, mine include meter and tempo information) Thank you.
