SoundBridge is the provider of this website and marketplace (“Website”), which allows users to purchase, donate, finance, rent-to-own, subscribe to, download, view or use music software (“Products”), conditioned upon the user’s acceptance of SoundBridge’s Privacy Policy.

Protecting our user’s private information is our first priority. This Privacy Policy applies to SoundBridge, its Website, and its Products. Our Privacy Policy also governs data collection and how users’ personal information is utilized by SoundBridge. By using the Website and/or downloading and installing its Products, users agree to the data practices described in this statement.

If a user does not consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy, then that user may not create a user account or use the Website or any Products obtained through it. By creating a user account, downloading or installing our Product, or otherwise clicking “agree” or “accept” where these options are presented, a user thereby accepts the Privacy Policy (as well as all End User Licensing Agreements and Terms of Service found on the website).

COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

In order to provide users our Products, SoundBridge may collect personally identifiable information through the Website, such as your:

  • Email
  • Password
  • IP Address

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us for the exception of your IP Address. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Website. We collect your IP Address on every login and again when you make purchases through our website. This is for your security and to make sure purchases through your account are valid and not fraudulent.

When users purchase Products from the Website, third-party payment processing companies, (such as PayPal & Stripe), will collect billing and credit card information. SoundBridge servers/databases will never store users’ payment information and such payment information is only used to complete the purchase transactions. If a user experiences a problem with processing their payment, that user should contact the third-party merchant who processed the payment. SoundBridge is not liable for any damages incurred by users as a result of a user’s interaction with third-party payment processing companies.

SoundBridge strongly recommends that users do not disclose personally identifiable information or private sensitive data through the Website’s public messaging boards, as this information may be collected and used by others. SoundBridge is NOT responsible for monitoring or safeguarding any information that a user posts on public messaging boards.

Products provided through the Website may communicate with SoundBridge servers, or a partner’s server, from time to time, to check for available updates, such as bug fixes, patches, enhanced functions, and new versions. By installing the Products, the user agrees to receive automatic updates.

When users install Products obtained through the Website, the user authorizes and allows SoundBridge to record various unique identifiers from the user’s computer or electronic devices such as the UUID, Processor ID, MAC address, HDD serials, Machine Name, as well as others unique identifiers.

By installing Products, users authorize SoundBridge to store these unique identifiers in a database alongside the email address associated with that user’s account. SoundBridge uses this information to prevent and identify unauthorized installations of our software, abuse, and piracy. SoundBridge will not share this information with anyone outside of its organization.

By installing the Products available on the Website, the user permits SoundBridge to collect any information about the Products’ usage, the user’s computer or device details, and unique identifiers worldwide. SoundBridge will keep this data indefinitely. However, SoundBridge will delete data related to a specific account, if the user agrees to delete and discontinue all use of the Website and its Products. If a user does not want us to collect this data, the user should completely uninstall every Product obtained from the Website from all of the user’s computer or devices and request that SoundBridge delete the entire user account along with all data collected by contacting user support at support@soundbridge.io.

If a user has any questions about SoundBridge’s product data collection technology or wants copies of the data collected on a user’s account, please contact user support at: support@soundbridge.io.
