RitMix 1.3.1
NEW FEATURES:
- Added zoom in/out functionality in the Edit Window. You can now use CTRL + Scroll Wheel/Track Pad or CTRL + (+ / –) to zoom.
CHANGES:
- Improved the waveform display in the Edit Window: added a zero line and removed the dividing line for stereo samples.
- Standardized the color of all grayed-out buttons when no sample is selected.
- You can now toggle the Sample Bank view when no sample is selected.
BUG FIXES:
- Fixed a UI graphical glitch affecting the Windows version.
- Resolved a crash that could occur when closing RitMix with the Menu pop-up open.
- Fixed an issue where the Undo function would revert parameters to default values instead of the last selected setting.
- Addressed a bug causing the Sample Bank toggle to switch unexpectedly when navigating between menus.
RitMix 1.3.0
NEW FEATURES:
- Introduced the "Sequencer Mode" button, which ignores pads set to loop mode and note-off events that trigger the Release of the envelopes. This button ensures that when you Drag Out the MIDI from RitMix's 16-step sequence, the external MIDI playback is identical to what you created in RitMix.
CHANGES:
- The filter ENV amount is now bipolar, so you can modulate the filter cutoff in negative and positive directions.
- Behind the scenes, we have optimized the Pitch Envelope and improved the allowed range so that no 2-octave limitation is imposed internally. You can now go up to 4 octaves + 1/2 semitone, depending on how you combine your parameters.
- Swapping, duplicating, and erasing pads now also affect the sequence steps they contain.
- The note-off event now also affects filter and Pitch Envelopes, so all enabled envelope releases respond simultaneously.
- Editing the decay and sustain parameters now uses a single dot to adjust both parameters in the graphical interface, improving performance and preventing the sustain dot from disappearing when release values overlap with sustain.
- Fixed the ADSR curves in the Edit Window to fit within crop boundaries.
- Enhanced the range and flexibility of the crop mechanism.
- ADSR curves in the Edit Window now disappear when disabled.
- Moved the Vel > Vol knob from the Amp Envelope section to the MIDI section.
- No curve will be displayed in the Edit Window when editing Humanizer parameters.
BUG FIXES:
- Resolved a bug causing the crop loop to jump in the Edit Window when adjusting ADSR curves.
- Fixed a bug that affected the warning pop-up when loading a new sample over an existing one, ensuring changes are applied only when clicking "Yes."
- Fixed a bug preventing the unlock feature from working on multiple pads simultaneously.
- Resolved a bug in which combined loop and trigger modes caused hang issues when the pads were linked.
- Fixed an issue preventing MIDI learn from working with the virtual keyboard if RitMix was in focus.
RitMix 1.2.2
CHANGES:
- If you click on any position on the editor’s timeline outside the loop area, the closest loop marker jumps to that point.
BUG FIXES:
- When you tried to read their automation parameters, the Left/Right loop markers and Distortion Enable button weren’t properly represented.
- We improved audio file-type compatibility.
- RitMix used to skip some MIDI notes when the amp envelope was on.
- Working with specific tempos (57, 114, 228 bpm) used to create issues with sample playback in RitMix.
- If you tried to swap a pad with an empty pad, it used to crash the pad.
- The Missing Samples dialog used to disappear if you closed the RitMix GUI and opened it again.
- The gain of samples played by RitMix used to be affected during a tempo change automation.
RitMix 1.2.1
BUG FIXES:
-
Loop on RitMix pads did not work correctly when the buffer size was 512 or smaller.
-
If Loop was on and the left and right markers were made to cross each other, and then that pad was triggered, the pad stopped working.
